  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (or salad dressing)
  • 3 cups shrimp (cooked and roughly chopped)
  • 1 cup seafood cocktail sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tomato, medium size, seeded and diced
  • 8 prawns, cooked with tails on

Method

Follow the steps in order for the best result.

  1. In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise (or salad dressing) until smooth and creamy.
  2. Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture onto a 12-inch pizza pan or a flat serving platter. To prevent any toppings from spilling, create a slight lip around the edge of the spread.
  3. Distribute the chopped shrimp evenly over the cream cheese base.
  4. Generously spread the seafood cocktail sauce over the shrimp and cream cheese mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, finely chopped green bell pepper, and chopped green onions evenly over the sauce and shrimp.
  6. Top with the diced tomatoes.
  7. Arrange the cooked prawns with tails on top of the spread for an elegant presentation.
  8. Serve chilled with your favorite crackers. Wheat Thins are a great option.
