Method

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, ketchup, seasoned bread crumbs, and Lipton Onion Soup Mix. Mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated. If the mixture appears too wet, add more bread crumbs until you achieve a consistency that easily forms into a loaf shape.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture into a 13x9-inch baking pan. Shape the mixture into a loaf, ensuring it is evenly distributed in the pan.
  4. Create the glaze by spreading a thin layer of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf. Then, sprinkle brown sugar generously over the ketchup layer. Adjust the amount of brown sugar to your preference, adding more for a sweeter crust.
  5. Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for one hour, or until it is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
