  • 4 ounces yellow cling peaches, diced (or 1 fresh peach, peeled and diced)
  • 1 1/2 frozen bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 kiwi, halved and peeled
  • 1 mango, peeled and diced (or 1 cup frozen mango)
  • 1 clementines (choose a non-acidic variety) or 1 small orange, juiced (choose a non-acidic variety)
  • 1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt (without artificial sweeteners)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Method

Follow the steps in order for the best result.

  1. Begin by placing the ice cubes into a blender. Crush the ice completely until it forms a finely textured slush. For best results, a food processor can be used to achieve a finer consistency. Store-bought ice tends to crush more easily due to its lower density and existing fractures compared to homemade ice.
  2. If using canned peaches, drain most of the liquid, retaining some syrup for added sweetness if desired. Add the peaches to the blender.
  3. Introduce the remaining ingredients to the blender. Pulse the mixture until it achieves a smooth and thoroughly combined consistency.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness as needed. If the fruit wasn't fully ripened, add a small amount of honey, sugar, or additional vanilla extract to enhance the flavor.
  5. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy this refreshing and healthy smoothie immediately!
