Method

Follow the steps in order for the best result.

  1. Begin by preparing the chicken breasts. Place each breast between two sheets of plastic wrap or in a resealable bag and pound them to your desired thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
  2. Set up a dredging station with three shallow dishes. In the first dish, place the flour. In the second dish, whisk the egg. In the third dish, add the corn flake crumbs.
  3. Take each chicken breast and dredge it in the flour, ensuring it's fully coated. Then, dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.
  4. Finally, roll the chicken breast in the corn flake crumbs, pressing gently to make sure the crumbs adhere well to all sides.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking pan to prevent sticking.
  6. Arrange the breaded chicken breasts on the prepared baking pan, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  8. If desired, season the chicken with chicken seasoning, salt, and pepper to enhance the flavor to your liking.
